Pia was acquired in September 2001, to become an important part of our show team and a mainstay of our breeding program.

Pia has been recognised as a true champion. This year alone, she was Champion Senior Female at both the Royal Melbourne and National Alpaca Shows. In 2002 she was Champion Senior female 3 times and Reserve Champion female four times. Pia achieved Reserve Champion Fleece twice including the Royal Melbourne Show. Pia has won the hearts of alpac show goers from across Australia. Her trademark look is a teddy bear face that carries so much fleece we have to trim around her eyes often to ensure she has good vision. She has a superb fleece that is super fine and dense, exhibiting a wonderful light brown colour that is even all over her body. Pia has been mated to the medium fawn, imported sire Purrumbete Eldorado who has produced many champions. Her cria is due very soon.
